Spring Dresses Perfect for Easter

Hey friends, I’m back in Houston and ready for the weekend! It was such a fast and furious week in Dallas, and I’m not sure where all my time went! However, Wednesday morning AubreyKate and I had the opportunity to head on over to the Avara boutique for a quick try-on haul of spring dresses perfect for Easter, and tour of their store.

Avara is located on Lover’s Lane in Dallas, TX. See the website for specific address in case you’re in the area and want to practice a little retail therapy! They have ALL the spring colors and styles fully stocked right now.

Today’s looks are focused on spring dresses that are perfect for Easter! I’ve chosen some solids and patterns featuring both the bold and pastel colors that are trending this season. Also, some of my favorite brands are represented here too, like Crosby and THML. There are so many great options in store and online, and I’m linking all my personal favorites here!

**Finally, Avara has generously given us a discount code for 15% off of our first purchase with the code: LULU15.

Pink Ruffled Dress

This dress is so sweet, and in the prettiest shade of pastel pink. It is a poplin cotton material with feminine details life the darling ruffles at the neck and sleeves. You’ll also notice that the tiered bodice is continuing it’s popularity this season with all of these dresses.

I sized up one size to a medium in this dress because it is poplin and doesn’t have any stretch, but also it isn’t lined. Since the dress is made a stiffer fabric it stands away from the body, and isn’t see through at all. This will be the ideal dress for those super hot days in summer.

Floral and Lemons Dress

It’s no secret that I love lemons, so this dress was one of my top picks for today’s try-on. It is also made by Crosby which is a brand I love for their quality clothing, and superb fit and style.

The v-neck with the ruffle around the collar is so feminine. It has an empire waistline which typically looks good on everybody type, and again you see that it has several tiers in the body of the dress.

One feature of this dress that I love is the sleeves. They are a cap sleeve, with small inserts at the arm hole which covers all the necessities. I’m wearing a size small here. Love.

Pink Bow Back Detail Dress

Y’all, this dress is just the cutest! The bow in the back at the top is adorable, and not revealing. Of course, I’m a sucker for ruffles and bows!

This maxi dress is fully lined from top to bottom. The tiers are perfectly places to hit at just the right spots, and this shade of pink makes me so happy. You can style this dress with heels or a simple slide. I’ve linked a cute strappy wedge that would be darling.

I’m so happy Easter is a little later in April this year, but it would be so easy to layer a denim jacket over any of these dresses!

Brush Stroke Sundresses

Let’s start with AubreyKate’s darling shoulder bow tie sundress. It has a scoop neck in the front and the back, and an A-line style dress. I find this dress to be very flattering on most body types. It has this seasons bold, bright colors with the red, navy, orange and white. It is fully lined with a high waistline and multiple tiers.

The ruffle sundress that I’m wearing too is an A-line style dress with a high waistline. The bright and bold brush stroke colors mixed with some muted pink and light blue seem to proclaim the arrival of spring! This dress has a square neckline and a bow tie feature in the back. It is fully lined as well. I’m wearing my regular dress size here.

White Ruffle Smocked Waisted Dress

Even though this isn’t the right style or length of dress for me, doesn’t mean I’m not going to include it in this post. This style is super popular right now. AubreyKate reminded me that a lot of the 20 and 30 somethings are pairing it with simple sneakers or the loved ‘Golden Goose’ sneakers. A fun and flirty way to style it.

Also, it would be lovely with a strappy pair of heels for a bridal shower, or a rehearsal dinner! I’ve lined several pairs of heels in this post that would look fabulous with this dress! It runs true to size!

I’m loving all of these dress options, and as I said before the colors are stunning for spring and Easter!
