3 Comfy Travel Outfits for Women

Hey friends, I’m writing to you from Dallas this week. I’ve been here visiting my family and working on some wedding plans. I think we’ve made some headway in the plans, but I’ve still got plenty of things left on my list.

I knew that I wanted some easy outfits for racing around town in, so I pulled together some comfy looks that still looked polished.

Sneakers, joggers, comfy denim and cozy tops were my first choice this week. The weather has been a bit rainy and chilly, so I made sure to have a denim jacket and trench coat with me at all times!

In the car or on a plane

No matter if you are wearing these joggers in the car for hours, or on the plane, they are simply going to be a favorite! So comfy, and they won’t look wrinkly or stretched out after the trip. They come in 3 different colors, but the navy pairs so perfectly with the denim jacket, I knew that was the color for me. The joggers run true to size, and I’m wearing a size small here for reference.

I added a fresh new graphic tee I picked up. I’m not really a band tee kind of gal, so I’m always looking for current, trendy graphic tees to wear with my denim jacket. I sized up in both the tee and denim jacket, because I love the oversized, comfy look of both of these pieces.

These sneakers are my FAVORITE, however they are only available in ‘kid’ sizes. I generally were a 7.5 of 8 in womens shoes, but I wear a size 6 in the youth here. This style comes in 3 different colors too. I highly recommend this brand and style.

Hit the ground running

I knew that we would be going to have my son fitted for his suit for the wedding the first day, so I wanted something a little more dressy than joggers, yet was still comfortable.

So, I grabbed this henley sweater. It is amazingly soft and the color is superb! I just can’t get enough of it. It comes in a few muted colors, but I was immediately drawn to this slate blue/grey color. This casual sweater looks amazing paired with denim, or white pants, and do run slightly large, but stuck with my regular size here.

Also, these Oliver Logan straight leg denim ALWAYS travel with me! They are very comfortable, and look nice paired with casual or dressy pieces. These jeans have a raw hem that can be cuffed or left straight, and also have some light rubbed spots, but nothing like a large hole in the denim. The vintage wash is great for anytime of the year! I am wearing my regular size in denim here.

Tying up loose ends

Today’s errands were all about tying up some loose ends, so I knew I wanted to wear a pair of sneakers for all the walking. Also, I decided to pair these olive green slim chinos with this polo sweatshirt that comes in 6 soft colors.

The slim chinos are lightweight, and above the ankle for me. I also sized up one size in these pants because I wanted a loose fit, that I’d wear all spring and summer long. You could easily get your regular size in these pants for the perfect fit.

This polo sweatshirt has a boxy fit, so I like to do a half tuck in the front to give it a little definition. The material is lightweight, and it would be perfect with some denim cut offs during the summer. I layered the polo over a white tank due to the deep v-neck feature of the top. I am wearing a small here, which is my regular size in tops. It is a boxy style, and isn’t super long in the front or back, however it did cover my belt in the back and I have a long torso.

I do have one more outfit I’m wearing tomorrow to my local boutique try-on, however I haven’t photographed it yet. It’s a dressy look, and I’ll be changing out of it after we leave the boutique and head back to Houston. I hope to be able to add the photo and description to this post and my LTK account by the weekend.

I’d love to hear if you have travel plans for the near future! Also, I’d love to hear any thoughts or questions you might have about today’s post. Comment below!
