Just a few months ago I was bemoaning the fact that I couldn’t find a clean body lotion. Well, I’m happy to announce that one of my favorite ‘clean beauty brands’ has pushed out their own body line. This is great news because the summer months can be drying on my already really dry skin! So, I’ll take all the hydration I can get.

Body moisturizer and 2 in 1 cleanser and exfoliator
Tula has released their Take Care + Nourish advanced hydration body moisturizer, and Take Care + Polish revitalize and cleanse body exfoliator. And I’m obsessed.
Body Moisturizer
The body moisturizer is creamy and soaks into the skin quickly without leaving it greasy. I love that my skin feels nourished and soft without all the nasty no-no’s.
2 in 1 Cleanser and Exfoliator
Also, the 2 in 1 cleanser and exfoliator has quickly become a shower staple at my house. It has a light, fresh smell, and is gentle on the skin. I love that it doesn’t feel like all the natural oils in my skin have been striped away after showering. Using this 2 or 3 times a week has helped my skin feel refreshed and clean.
Use Before and After Self or Spray Tan
As a matter of fact, the body moisturizer and cleansing exfoliator are the perfect powerhouse duo for the summer months. I’ve been using the exfoliator before I self tan or get a spray tan because it helps the tanning solution to soak in smoothly. Then I follow up with the body lotion with hydrates the skin thoroughly and extends the life the of the tan.
Plant based products
Next, just a couple of facts about this clean beauty brand. No animal testing
Finally, Tula doesn’t test on animals and is certified cruelty free. After a little bit of investigation into animal testing, I quickly found it was not something I could support on any level. However, that is my own personal opinion.
