Valentine’s Day Inspired Outfits: Both Dressy and Casual

It’s already the end of January, so I thought I’d share with you these Valentine’s Day inspired outfits, both dressy and casual. Whether shopping in your closet or browsing for something new, I hope you’ll find a look you love.

The traditional reds and pinks are represented here, but I’m also sharing a few neutral looks for those who want to stick to a creamy palette no matter the holiday.

Also, today’s post is all outfit-related. However, I have a collection of Valentine’s Day related items linked to my LTK account. I’d love for you to hop on over there to look at all the pretty things.

Furthermore, some friends are joining me today to share their Valentine’s Day-inspired looks! Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the post, where I’m also linking their websites.

A Chunky Pink Cardigan and Floral Sweater

First, I bought both sweaters this fall and have been wearing them for the past several months. However, they would both be excellent choices this season. The original sweaters are out of stock, but I’ve linked some similar styles you will want to look at.

Red and Ivory for the Win

Next is this red v-neck sweater and ivory slip skirt, a Valentine’s Day inspired outfit! I’m not typically a “red” girl, but it has been the “it” color this season! So when I found this super soft sweater, I had to have it. Also, this slip skirt is a show-stopper and can be styled in many different ways!

Let’s not forget about today’s accessories! This little red mini bag with the crystal bow is simply darling. It’s definitely a little pop of joy. These tall suede boots help create a long, lean silhouette for this look.

Both the sweater and skirt run true to size.

All Black is so Chic

Now, let’s talk about this all-black situation. It is always an acceptable and elegant option! When I first saw this sweater, I knew it would be perfect for a date night look. It is SUPER soft and slightly cropped. It pairs so well with these high wasited flowy trousers.

Then, since it’s the season, I added this red mini bag for a pop of color.

The sweater is fitted. If you want a roomy fit, size up one size. The trousers run true to size. They have a roomy fit and a tab on the waistband to tighten them. Also, the trousers come in several colors and are currently on sale.

A Neutral Style

Lastly, I had to include an all-neutral look to my Valentine’s Day inspired outfits. However, I did use red lipstick with this outfit to give it a little nod to Valentine’s Day.

The fuzzy coat is simply amazing. It’s very comfortable and is fully lined. It is a short jacket that pairs well with high-waisted styles. The champagne camisole is a natural beauty next to the black trousers and ivory jacket. Also, don’t overlook these black trousers. They are the same pants from the post above and have a lovely wide leg. I really love the silhouette they help create.

All the pieces below run true to size.
