It’s hard to believe, but next Monday is Memorial Day! So today I thought I’d bring you some Memorial Day outfit inspiration! I’ve kept all of my outfits casual and cute. Also, these pieces can be styled and worn the rest of the summer!
Also, there are only six pieces total here. They are easy to mix and match. Basically, it’s tough to beat the navy and white color combination, so I love starting there and adding some red in with a bag/tote, sneakers or sandals, or an accessory like sunglasses.
So, whatever your plans are for this long weekend, it will be comfortable and patriotic with these fun styles!

Navy and White Gingham & Kick Crop Denim
First up is one of my favorite style tops, the camp shirt. It is a short sleeve button up top typically with a rolled sleeve. Always a roomy and casual style top. The navy and white gingham is a classic combination. Then simply add these white kick crop denim that are so popular this season! Finally, add a red bag or shoes for an easy Memorial Day look.
Sizing: Camp shirt runs roomy. Stick with your normal top size. The kick crop denim are stretchy and run true to size.
Orangey Red Chino Shorts
Next up, I’ve switched out the denim for a pair of orangey red chino shorts. This style short is my favorite. I typically buy a pair or two every summer from Loft. They truly have the best fit and look. I kept the gingham top for that red, white and blue theme.
Sizing: Shorts run true to size. These are 4″ shorts. I believe that Loft carries other lengths of shorts as well.
Navy and White Square Neck Top
The third look is similar to the others, but the darling square neck top with puff sleeves stole my heart! It is so feminine and sweet. It has a navy blue pattern that sticks with the patriotic theme here. Of course, the bright shorts steal the show here.
Sizing: The square neck top runs true to size.
Navy Blue Stars Sweatshirt
Next up is this fun navy blue short sleeve sweat shirt. It is terry cloth inside and runs oversized. Comfy and cute with it’s puffed sleeves. I’ve broken up the pattern with the same orangey red chino shorts.
Sizing: The sweatshirt top has a roomy fit.
Navy Blue Stars Matching set
Finally, who doesn’t love a matching set? I’m totally smitten with the navy blue star pattern from Lou and Grey! The shorts are as comfy and soft as the top. They have a drawstring waistband and deep pockets.
Sizing: Navy blue star shorts fit is roomy.
