Must-Have Mascara 2022: These are definitely worth trying

Hey friends! Today’s post brings my favorite must-have mascara for 2022! Actually the Overall best volumizing mascara was Lancome’s Monsieur Big. However, I also wanted to bring you some others that are totally worth at least a try-on the! These beauties won’t disappoint!

I independently select these products-if you buy from one of my links, I may earn a commission.

A couple of things you need to know about me and mascara. First, I want to have volume and length in the same tube. However, that isn’t always the case so I’m not afraid to build my lash look up! Next, layers are my friend. One coat just won’t do for me! Lastly, I always use a lash primer. I have literally tested dozens of brands, but the one I continue to come back to is from Lancome. That being said, I also have linked other ‘top sellers’ you might want to check out as well!

From lengthening to volumizing to clean formulas, I’ve got you covered, girl!

Lancome’s Monsieur Big

My first must-have mascara is from Lancome who has been a leader in developing the best formulas for mascara for years now. In fact, I’m including some of my personal favorites (linked below) that I continue to cycle through when I want to change things up a bit!

Currently Mr.Big is coming in strong with a big fluffy wand, perfect for volumizing. Also, I’m not complaining about it’s lengthening abilities either. Overall, this mascara is a winner in my book.

Too Faced Better Than Sex

Another must-have mascara I’ve been obsessed with is the formula from Too Faced Cosmetics. I’m in love with the wand for this mascara. It has the hourglass shape that makes it so easy to add volume and length all at the same time! This formula is smooth and doesn’t smudge or flake off. It is one I’ve been using for several years now and I simply keep it on repeat.

Maybelline’s The Falsies Lash Lift

Could drugstore mascara formulas even be considered a must-have mascara? Well if you have been following along you know that I reviewed this drugstore mascara last month in a post. It’s hard to believe a drugstore formula could even come close to measuring up to some iof t’s name brand competitors, but this one does! It brings the volume and length in HOT! I was so surprised how much I actually LOVED this mascara. The only negative was that it did seem to dry out a bit quickly. I definitely got the best performance from it the first two weeks after opening the tube.

I’m also linking some runner’s up that also received high reviews!

Covergirl’s Lash Blast Clean

Finally, some must-have clean mascaras!

I’m so excited to introduce some FABULOUS clean formula mascaras! Finally the brands are beginning to hear us cry out for healthy options to when it comes to what we use around our eyes. These brands don’t disappoint either. I’ve linked a few drugstore and name brands. Personally, I have used all of the ones I’ve linked. I think the Milk brand is my favorite, but the Covergirl Clean is my favorite drugstore brand. Again, with the Covergirl, I got the best performance out of this mascara the first two weeks of use. Also, I still use lash primer along with the mascara. (The primer is not clean.).

Lash Primers

I think because I’m getting older and my lashes are short and thinning, primer has become a must-have for me. It seems to prep my lashes to grip the mascara. It also appears to provide more volume as I apply the coats of mascara. So, I wanted to bring some of the best rated lash primers, name brand and drugstore.
