4 Holiday Outfits Perfect For 2020

Hey friends. The holiday season is here and it looks a little different than it has in the past. Perhaps we will be attending much smaller gatherings with friends and family. So many of the traditions or parties that we are familiar with have been called off entirely.

Even though this may be the case, this is still a time to celebrate. We can find a pretty red sweater, pull out those sparkling earrings, and slip on those heels for the festive occasion.

So I’m bringing you 4 holiday outfit ideas for 2020.

The 2020 Holiday Season

This year I’ve toned down the outfits according to our current situation. I’ve found a couple of pretty sweaters, both of which could be worn with denim and create a fabulous look! Also, I found a lovely black jumpsuit. Black is so elegant and easy to style! Next, the slogan sweatshirt, puffy red jacket and holiday scarf is the perfect style for any outdoor or super casual event!

Please note

Please don’t feel that’s it’s necessary to run out and buy any of these outfits or pieces! I want to encourage you to use these outfits as inspiration and to shop your own closet! Mix and match sweaters, denim, shoes and accessories that you already own!

Finally, I wanted to add some sparkle with the accessories! So I found some pearl and rhinestone mules, the perfect crossbody bag with gold chain accents, and long drop earrings to add a bit of drama.

Nothing too fancy. But definitely festive.

The classic red sweater

I’m loving this sweater because it can be paired with a dressy pair of trousers, skirt or denim. Also, it will be something you’ll be able to wear in the months after December.

The rhinestone v-neck sweater

I love the rhinestone detail on the shoulders of this sweater, but it’s not so dominating that it steals the show! You could easily change out the black pants for a pair of denim and ankle boots or mules for a casual chic look.

The elegant black jumpsuit

I wanted to offer one option for a dressier look. Knowing that so many people already own a black jumpsuit, I thought this would be the perfect outfit! You can style it so many ways for a holiday gathering, even a wedding! Add a faux fur wrap, a statement necklace or earrings, a pair of sparkly heels, whatever you’d like to dress it up and still feel comfortable.

The festive slogan sweatshirt

Currently slogan tees are so trendy. Same for the slogan sweatshirt. Layering a plaid shirt, denim and boots create a fun easy look that can go from sipping hot cocoa by a fire pit to a cookie swap at church.

The puffy jacket with holiday scarf

If you know you’re going to be outdoors for an extended period of time, why not pull out a brightly colored jacket and knit scarf for the occasion? Both will keep you toasty warm and create a celebratory vibe as well!

Tory Burch camera bag

I’m obsessed with this bag. It is all leather and offers a small gold chain accent on both sides of the strap. This bag can easily be worn with a dress or denim. I don’t mind paying a little bit more if I can use the piece with multiple outfits and year round!
