Madewell early spring styles have my heart this season! I’m in love with the fabrics, colors, and styles. I”m traditionally a solids only kind of gal, but this spring I find myself reaching for the stripes, and fun patterns.
Of course, Madewell is known for their amazing denim, so I wanted to feature a spring favorite with these light washed raw hem vintage cuties. However, don’t pass up the chance to browse through all the other styles, and washes.
So, I’ve pieced together four looks I’m hoping you will fall in love with as much as I did! I would love to hear which pieces or looks are your favorites. Or, if you have a favorite pair of Madewell jeans, I’d love to hear about them! I’m always looking for great recommendations!

Open Weave Cardi & Vintage Wide Leg Jeans
This first look from Madewell will be one you will be able to use again in the fall! This open weave striped cardigan is the right weight for spring and fall. I love the neutral tan and cream stripes which are versatile. I’ve layered it over a white tank here, but it has a matching tank as well. Also, don’t miss these light washed wide leg jeans. High waisted, and with enough stretch they will be the ones to reach for over and over in your closet! Madewell’s early spring styles will be ones to revisit for season’s to come.
Sizing: Cardigan is roomy, and hits below the waist. Runs true to size. The denim are snug, but they are also stretchy. They run true to size.
Patchwork Peplum Top & Vintage Wide Leg Jeans
This second look is simply darling. The patchwork v-neck peplum top has all the sweet summery details in the stitching! It will be a summer ‘go-to’ easy piece to style and head out the door. It will look darling with shorts, or chinos as well.
If you’ve been here any time at all, you’ll know that pink is a favorite color of mine. Madewell early spring styles have the “shades of pink” covered!
Sizing: Mauve patchwork peplum top runs true to size. I sized up for additional length. The v-neck isn’t too low. Roomy fit.
Matching Blazer & Trousers
I’m totally smitten with this third look from Madewell! This matching suit is EVERYTHING! I love the color, style and fit of it. Also, it’s easy to style the pieces separately, and dress this look up or more casually. This will be a closet workhorse for sure! I’ve style the suit here with a ribbed tank also from Madewell. As you can see, Madewell’s early spring styles have started off STRONG!
Sizing: Blazer runs true to size.
The Perfect Slip Dress & Oversized Button Up Shirt
Really, this last look is edgy and flirty! Also, the slip dress and button up shirt are both having a “trending” moment currently! The dress is silky and fits like a glove. (Yet, not too tight!) Furthermore, the slip dress is available in several spring colors. Next, the striped oversized button up shirt is a “classic closet” staple. The oversized fit works well with leggings, skinny/slim jeans, or over a swimsuit! There are simply so many ways to style this iconic piece.
Sizing: Slip dress runs true to size. Zipper closure, and adjustable spaghetti straps. The oversized button up shirt is lightweight cotton, and runs very large.
