I think we are all ready to get back to wearing some early spring dresses this year! After a couple of years not wearing anything “dressy” due to the pandemic, things seem to be getting back normal. Weddings are taking place, and people are celebrating special occasions again! Which means, we are able to pick up some lovely dresses for these events. Yay!
So today I’ve got a couple of dressy dresses that are appropriate for these special events. I’ve picked a midi length because most of us aren’t ready to bare our legs without a little sun! And these dresses hit at the perfect place on your leg!

Finally, all of these dresses are from Dillards. They tend to have some well made options that are trendy yet a classic look. And I am able to find dresses that are modest and not too mature in style.

V-Neck Tiered Midi Dress
The first early spring dress is this fabulous flowy v-neck midi dress. I love the sheer bubble sleeves, and the ruching at the waistline. The colors are perfect for the early spring to summer seasons. It has a slight curved hemline, but it’s not distracting from the rest of the outfit.
Pair this flowy dress with a nude or clear heel for a leveled up look. I’ve linked lots of shoe and bag options at the end of the post! Make sure to check them out.
Sizing: This dress runs true to size. The waistline has ties at each side, so it’s somewhat adjustable and very stretchy.
Floral Tiered Surplice Dress
Dress number two is this floral little tiered cutie. It features puffed sleeves, a wrap top, and lots of ruffles! This dress zips up the back and has a definite waistline. It doesn’t have any stretch to the material or the style of the dress. The mauves and pinks totally steal the show for this floral midi. This would be the perfect dress to attend a wedding or special occasion in.
Pair this dress with a black or nude heel for a chic look.
