Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas 2022: Chicos Part 2

This year my favorite Thanksgiving outfit ideas are festive and sparkly. Actually, these two outfits are so comfy and cute, I just couldn’t resist featuring them in a blog post!

Also, I feel like all three of these looks could be worn through the holidays and beyond!

Finally, the last ‘outfit’ isn’t really an ‘outfit’. It’s the base layer that is easy to layer on top of for a a sleek and trendy style!

Poncho & Half Faux Leather Leggings

First of all, I featured this poncho last Monday in my blog post. I felt like everyone would love it, so I ordered it, and styled it for Thanksgiving.

Also, I love this poncho because it has the dolman arms and the color blocking is super chic. It is long enough to cover the bum so it can be styled with leggings, slim pants, or skinny jeans. It runs true to size.

The half faux leather leggings will be on repeat in my closet this winter! I love the contrast between the semi-shiny faux leather and the rich black spandex in the back. I sized up in these leggings thinking they’d be too short, however I believe they are too large. (especially in the inseam). So, stick to your regular pant size with these leggings.

Finally, this is an outfit that can be worn during the holidays, but also well into the new year!

Bring on the Bling

Next is this sequin and beaded camel color sweater with black and gold slim pants. I’m totally obsessed with the pants, y’all! The fit is AMAZING, and they are super soft and stretchy! I thought the sweater was going to steal the show with this outfit, but the pants are truly everything here. They run true to size with a roomy fit. I am wearing my regular size 6 here.

Furthermore, the sweater is fabulous too! I sized up to a medium wanting an oversized look to the sweater, but I think it’s a bit too big, so stick to your normal size. It has a dolman sleeve, and is very soft. The boat neck is always a feminine style as well!

Finally, this outfit would be a great choice for all the holiday celebrations that are just around the corner! The pants could easily be styled with a gold top for a cute New Year’s party too!

Layering Pieces

Lastly, I picked up this mock neck tunic that zips up the neck because I knew it would be a ‘closet basic’ for me! I love to create outfits with a black base layer because it’s so slimming and elegant. This tunic top is no exception! It has a dolphin hem, and covers the bum. The zipper at the neck makes it really easy to pull on over your head, and gives a slim silhouette. It runs true to size, and comes in several colors.

Finally, I’ve already given a description of the half faux leather leggings, but I wanted to include a side view of them so you could see the contrast of the fabrics.

I’ve written several blog posts that have options for Thanksgiving outfit inspiration! Hopefully these will be helpful when it comes time for you to pull together a few looks this November! It’s so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week!
