Early Fall Preview 2022: Accessory Essentials

Today’s post is all about accessory essentials we’ll be seeing for the fall and winter this year. I’m picking just a few of my favorites. In fact, these pieces are repeats from last year’s line-up. However, this year you’ll be seeing a lot more of these styles! I suppose that last year they were just warming up!

The shopping tote & the chunky loafer

1. Large shopping tote: It is made of super lightweight material, and has a zipper compartment inside. I love the shiny eterrior and oversized style. Versatile enough to be carried with joggers and a hoodie or matching suit set. LOVE.
2. Chunky loafers with a chain detail: The chunky loafer will be everywhere this coming season. It will also be appearing in a rainbow of colors. I’ve linked these traditional matte black loafers here that can be worn with everything from denim to dressy trousers.
3. Chunky loafers with bit detail: These are the same thick sole version as the other loafers. You’ll also see the thick sole traditional penny loafer as well. Again, this style can be worn with just about any outfit. They add a little bit of an edgy look to the outfit.
4. Camel window pane shopper in faux leather: I’m smitten with this tote. It’s no secret I love a good tote! They are always a great statement piece to any outfit, and have the added benefit of lots of room to haul all the things!

The western flare & chain mules

1. Braided handled shoulder bag: This bag has that western flare you’ll be seeing so much more of this fall season! I love the subtle horseshoe shape on the body of the purse. It’s not so overwhelmingly obvious that you can’t wear it with non-western styles.
2. Braided bootie: This western style bootie made its appearance last winter, and it’s back again this year. The pointy toe mule is very trendy right now, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon. Personally, I’m a big fan of this style, and the price point of this bootie makes it an easy piece to add to your closet line-up. Wear it with denim, and midi skirts.
3. Chain detail mules: These mules are back again this year. They are still as trendy as they’ve been the past couple of years. These are a great price point, and come in a few different colors. They are definitely a go-to in my fall and winter wardrobe. Wear them with just about any style for a polished look.
4. Black shoulder bag: This bag isn’t particularly trending this year, but it is a new arrival and I feel like it would be a go-to in my closet. I love that it has plenty of space for storage, and it can be used with casual and more dressy outfits. Also, this style comes in several colors and is at a reasonable price point.

More sneak peek styles

I’m totally crushing on all of these styles I’ve featured today, and I know that you’ll begin to notice them as well, if you haven’t already! It’s always fun to pick up one or two new/trendy seasonal items that won’t ‘break the bank’ and will give some fresh life to staple pieces in your closet!
