I know. Another easy teacher outfits post, but you have to remember I’m partial to teachers! Today I’ve extended the post to include a little something for fall. It’s good to be looking ahead since all of the stores are currently stocking their shelves with long sleeves, lots of denim, and flannel. I know all of this seems premature, especially in Houston, when it’s still 100 degrees outside. However, the fashion industry runs ahead of schedule year round!
So, I am including an outfit with a fabulous herringbone blazer, and chelsea boots. It’s a good idea to snag those pieces you like for fall now, especially when they are on sale, then pull them out in a month or so! You’ll be so glad you did!
Animal Print Midi Skirt Styled Two Ways
I’m loving this animal print midi skirt because I know it can be styled so many ways. Also, it will come in handy later in fall when I can wear it with a sweater, tights, and a pair of boots.
This midi skirt has a wide elastic waistband and small side vent on one side. It runs true to size, and is very roomy.
I’ve styled the skirt with denim in both outfits, but went with a layered look with the graphic tee and denim jacket. Also, it would be so easy to slip a linen blazer over the denim shirt right now to elevate that outfit.
Finally, since it’s still super warm outside, I paired it both looks with these crossover summer wedges. August is a great time to pick up some of those items you’ve been eyeing all summer long, but didn’t want to pay full price for. These wedges are a great example of that. I will wear them until mid September, then store them again until next spring. They will be in great condition to start off the new season.
The wedges run true to size.
Schoolboy Blazer and Chelsea Boots
This fitted schoolboy blazer is a great piece to add to this year’s fall/winter closet. It is a wool blend structured style jacket. I love the herringbone pattern in navy blue. This will be a piece I will want to wear on repeat since it pairs so well with denim, a navy or black trouser or skirt.
The schoolboy blazer runs true to size. It’s good to remember this is a fitted blazer. It doesn’t have much stretch to it. In fact, if you plan to wear a sweater underneath it, you might want to consider sizing up one size.
In this look, I’ve kept it casual by adding a fun graphic tee that is in the ‘blue’ family. Next, I pulled in a straight leg jean that is currently so trendy. Finally, I finished this outfit by adding my chelsea boots that I bought last winter.
*Pro Tip: The ‘chelsea boot’ trend is on fire!!! It isn’t going away anytime soon, so if you have been waiting to join in on this trend, now is the time. I’m linking several options below.
I’m definitely a summer girl, but the thought of fall is very enticing right about now! And with school about to start up, I’m loving the denim, tees, and midi skirts. But it won’t be long before we are pulling out the blazers, and boots!
