Happy Friday, friends! Today I want to introduce you to my favorite summer makeup must haves for mature skin. These past few months I have been searching for a bright/ luminous foundation because I knew I was going to do my own makeup for my son’s wedding in July. After testing out numerous brands, I finally landed on the perfect foundation for my super dry skin. I also used these other products and with the addition of some false lashes, I was happy with the way my look turned out.
Makeup Must-Haves
Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation: A Dior foundation with 24h wear, radiant medium-to-full coverage and hydration. With 86% skincare ingredients to visibly improve skin over time. After the first application I could visibly see a difference in the brightness of my skin! I was hooked. This formula dries matte, but does not look dry on your skin. Highly recommend! Five stars.
Bobbi Brown Enriched Vitamin Face Base Priming Moisturizer: A bestselling, multivitamin-enriched primer that nourishes, visibly plumps, and preps skin with healthy hydration to improve the look of foundation. This formula goes on your skin like butter! It also makes your foundation so smooth, and last all day. I think since my skin is so dry, using this face base primer with the Dior foundation is my powerhouse duo!
Laura Mercier Color Infusion Blush: A long-wearing, sheer powder blush that provides up to 10 hours of buildable, natural-looking cheek color for all skin tones. I got this blush in the shade ‘Passionfruit’. It has a nice glow or shimmer to it. It is now my absolute favorite shade that seems to go with everything.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: An intensely black volumizing mascara for the sexiest, most defined lashes possible. Okay. I know that I include this mascara in every beauty post I create, but really this mascara is the BOMB when it comes to length and volume! By the way, I also use Lancome’s lash primer to optimize this mascara!
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick-Pillow Talk Collection: Shade Pillow Talk- nude pink. This lipstick is seriously a favorite. The nude pink is a universally flattering shade for most people’s skin tone and it is neutral color which makes it a great choice. However, I don’t like the CT lip liner because it comes in a wooden barrel, and I’ve found it hard to keep it sharpened often enough that the barrel doesn’t rub on my lips. So I found an alternate substitute that is half the price and is the perfect match to the nude pink. It’s Sephora’s Nuthin but Nude retractable gel lip liner.

As always, I hope you have found this post valuable. I’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, and any ideas you have for future posts!
Happy shopping!
