We are now firmly in June, so I thought this would be a great time to introduce some beautiful summer pink lipsticks by MAC Cosmetics! If you follow along with me on Instagram, last week I shared my ‘pink lipstick’ try-on haul in stories. By the end of my try-on I wanted to take all of the pink shades home, but I showed restraint and bought one lipstick, one lip balm, and the coordinating lip liner.
Also, lipstick shades can be tricky, since they look differently on each person. So, the MAC Cosmetics brand have a “try it” feature on their website that allows customers to virtually ‘try-on’ all the makeup on their site. I think this is brilliant and very helpful. So, if you can’t get into a store to try on in person, consider using this virtual tool instead!
Powder Kiss Lipstick in Sultriness
This formula is a very moisturizing matte. It goes on creamy smooth, without any tugging or pulling you will get a lot of times from other matte lipsticks. I was truly shocked at just how buttery this matte lipstick truly feels.
It is such a pretty light pink shade. Sultriness came home with me, and I love it!
CremeSheen Lipstick in Cream Cup
This next summer pink lipstick is a very neutral shade! It is MAC’s cream formula, and it is BUTTERY smooth going onto your lips. Super hydrating comes to mind immediately at the first application! I didn’t bring this one home with me, but it’s already in my cart… soooo. 😬 Can a girl really have too many pink lippies???? It’s simply beautiful.
CremeSheen Lipstick in Snob
Finally, there’s this BOLD pink lipstick that is perfect for a pop of color! This is the lippie you’ll want to use to add a little interest to that fun summery outfit. Again, it is a that creamy formula that goes on so smoothly, and looks gorgeous on! Bold colors are so trendy this season, it’s fun to add that pop of color to your lips.
Glow Play Lip Balm in Floral Coral
High shine without being sticky, but also super hydrating! This lip balm provides a sheer tint to the lips. In fact, this Floral Coral really is orangey, but with the pink lip liner, it becomes a pinky corally shade that is very pretty. You can wear this lip balm on it’s own, or over a liner or other lipstick shade.
This lip balm also came home with me. I can’t resist a moisturizing lip balm for the summer months! it’s made with all the good stuff like jojoba oil and shea butter. By the way, it also instantly plumps the lips for that pouty fullness everyone wants right now!
Edge to Edge Lip Pencil
This lip pencil shade in Edge to Edge is one of MAC’s ‘best sellers’. It’s such a pretty pink shade it can be used to line, contour, or fill in the lips. I’ve started lining my lips regularly, especially if I have an event or gathering. It seems to help contain the lipstick to the lip area, and reduces the look of feathering around the outside of the lips.
*Pro Tips*. Slightly over line the cupid’s bow on the top lip, and over line the middle bottom lip for a fully look.
MAC Stack Mascara
This is the mascara that everyone is talking about on TikTok. It has gone viral due to it’s ‘stacking’ ability! I am a ‘layer-it-up’ kind of mascara girl. In my opinion, you just can’t have eyelashes that are to long or defined! So, just keep on adding to the layers of mascara without the clumping you will get with a lot of mascara formulas. Also, I’ve noticed that it is a much darker black shade than any of the name brand mascaras I’ve been using. LOVE.
This mascara also comes in a mini size, perfect for a little test drive!
*Full Disclosure* So far I’m really liking this mascara, but I also use my regular eyelash primer before I apply my mascara.
