Hello, friends! Happy Wednesday. Today’s post is featuring fashion from a French female designer. The brand is called “LouLou D’Amour” fashion. Whenever a brand reaches out to work with me, I immediately go to check out their website to see if their fashion matches up with the quality and styles we love in this midlife community. I was happy to find that this brand has beautiful pieces that range from semi-formal to athleisure wear. All of their collections have navy, red, white, and rust color themes.
Of course, they had me at “LouLou”! ‘In French, βMon loulou dβamourβ is how you refer to someone very dear to your heart.’ Now I know what I want my ‘grandma’ name to be some day! I’ll be the crazy grandma who loved fashion, and became an entrepreneur when she was 50 years old…ππΌββοΈπ»ππΌ
I’m featuring a fabulous pair of blue linen pants, a mock neck sleeveless top made of the finest rib cotton, and matching skirt made of the softest fabric ever!
Montmartre Pants
The moment I saw these pants I knew I wanted them! I love a wide leg pant! And I love that these are a herringbone linen. The indigo is very versatile and so stylish. Pair them with a tailored button up shirt, or a fun ruffled top and wedges! (I’m going for a little boho vibe here.). Simply so many options.
I am amazed by the details in these pants! The stitching around the front pockets and down the side seams of are gorgeous! You can see the details in the second photo!
These pants fit true to size. Since they are linen, they do have a little give to them. They do run long in length. I am wearing a wedge here and they still touch the ground.
Mock Neck Top and Matching Skirt
If you live in a region of the USA that is warm 9 months of the year, this top and skirt are for you! They are made of 100% fine rib cotton and super lightweight fabric. Also, the first thing I noticed about these pieces is that the material so soft and stretchy. I can see wearing this through September.
Both the top and skirt run true to size. I am wearing a small in both pieces. The length is perfect, hitting just below the knee.
I’ve paired the skirt with these fun chunky wooden sandals, and cognac horseshoe bag for a boho vibe again. I also have some retro chunky bracelets I was supposed to wear, but obviously didn’t make an appearance in the pic. π. I’ll link them below anyway.
I highly encourage you to head on over to LouLou Damour’s website to checkout the fabulous pieces they have in their collections!
