Hey friends, we are nearing the end of our ‘Girls Trip to NOLA’ series. This is the 3rd of 4 posts about our trip. Where to shop in Baton Rouge is full some of my favorite clothing stores! Talk about a full day of shopping and fun.
Loft in Baton Rouge at Towne Center
First of all, we don’t have enough space here to cover all the pieces we tried on at Loft! So I am linking some new arrivals below that will be perfect for now and on into spring! (Which is just around the corner!)
My Loft Try-On
The moment I saw these slim leg olive chinos, I knew they’d be going home with me. I love a pair of lightweight chinos for the summer. They are so easy to style. Think white tee, or black tank top and sandals or sneakers. I sized up one size to keep these looking relaxed and so comfy even after they’ve been washed a dozen times!
Next, I’m in love with this navy sweater with the puffed sleeves. It will be a fabulous addition to my closet especially here between winter and spring. I’ve already worn it with my white wide leg pants from Spanx. I’ll be doing a try-on with both of these pieces in stories soon! I stuck with my regular size small for this sweater.
About Town Center
Town Center is a large shopping center area located in Baton Rouge, LA. There are a ton of great shops to visit at this shopping center. Some of my favorites are Loft, Hemline, Bumble Lane, Banana Republic, Gap, and the list goes on. Basically, you name it, they’ve got it! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!
Krewe Sunglasses at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge
Our next stop was at Krewe Sunglasses. I already owned a pair of Krewe sunglasses, so I was super excited to pop by their darling store! All of the ladies from Chit Chat Chic loved getting professional advice about what size and shape would best fit their face!
After much consideration, I took home the ones above on the left. They are a fun shape, and I love the gold and black shades together here. So chic.
Again, I think we tried on every pair of sunglasses in the store between the 6 of us! (Including Shey our photographer!). I’m linking a few of my favorites below! They have so many springs arrivals it was tough to pick from all of them.
Versona at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge
Our last stop was to Versona, and when we walked in I was wondering why I’d never heard of them before. Come to find out they have only been open a few years, and part of that was during the pandemic… (a difficult for ALL of the clothing stores.) Also, they are now beginning to open more locations around the country.
We very quickly saw that they had variety of great styles at affordable prices! Also, they have styles for the high school and college girls in your life. Versona carries clothing, accessories, jewelry, and shoes.
The best part is that you can shop in store or online if you can’t find a location near you! So be sure to check them out!
About Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge, LA
Perkins Rowe is another really large shopping centers in Baton Rouge. On the day we visited we only had time to visit 3 of the stores, but there are so many of my favorites there too! Some of the stores located there are Anthropology, Barnes and Noble, Blu Spero, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Versona, and Krewe to name just a few.
I think I mentioned in my last post that I’ve visited Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge several times before this trip. It truly is one of my favorite shopping areas in town.
Thank you to Perkins Rowe for hosting us with a shopping spree at Versona!
A word to our sponsors
Again, a HUGE thank you to all of these brands, Towne Center and Perkins Rowe! We totally appreciate all your support and encouragement!
*Note* Don’t forget to head over to these gal pals of mine from Chit Chat Chic to catch all of their picks from the week in NOLA. I’ve linked everyone below!
Also check out our first post about where to eat and stay in NOLA and what we wore on our trip.
I hoped you’ve found this post valuable, and I’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, or ideas for future blog posts.
Happy shopping!
XOXO,
Cindyh
