What is Chit Chat Chic?
If you aren’t familiar with Chit Chat Chic, it is a live show that airs every Wednesday evening at 7pm CST on Instagram. We are a group of 5 midlife moms that love fashion, family, healthy living, and our homes. Each week we discuss various topics related to midlife women. A lot of times we poll our communities on IG to find out what everyone would like to discuss. It’s lighthearted, energetic, and always a lot of fun. Instagram Live Recap
1. My most recent purchase(s) for my closet have been these two animal print dresses from Amazon. The animal dress midi dress and short animal print dress are perfect for a shower, church, work, or coffee with your bestie! 2. I’ve had a few home purchases due to the fact that we are redecorating the study to be my office space. So I found this FABULOUS pink and taupe area rug that was on sale for 50% off! Then we added these textured white sheers on a brass curtain rod. I’m loving how it’s coming all together. Also, when I was at Target a few months back, I spotted this white metal planter on brass stand and had to have it. I love the snake plant we found for the planter as well!
3. My most recent beauty purchase (not gifted) was some mascara from a clean beauty brand. I bought both the volumizing and the lengthening mascaras from Ilia. In the past I have always been disappointed with my clean mascara purchases, but this Ilia brand mascara is truly amazing. It is currently my favorite clean mascara! I would give it 5 stars. Highly recommend!
4. Workout clothes are a favorite subject of mine, so I’m thrilled to share these ‘Wear Everywhere’ leggings from Spanx. They are great quality, the fit is amazing, and they have an assortment of styles, colors and lengths. And of course, I’m linking the ones with pockets for you! If you don’t have to have the phone pocket, these ‘Booty Boost’ in Graphite are my FAVORITES!
5. Lastly, I wanted to share this amazing full zip hoodie jacket. Actually, I asked for this for Christmas. I had it in a previous version of this jacket, and nearly wore it out. So when I saw the brand had brought it back this season, I jumped right on it. It is semi-fitted. I decided to get a large due to the fact that I layer pieces under it. Also, it washes well, and I hang mine to air dry. It’s the perfect jacket for going to and from the gym, or simply running into the grocery store!
