Hey friends! I’m so excited to feature my favorite summer styles! I’m loving everything cool, comfy and casual. So thankfully I’ve found a couple of darling flowy dresses, button fly denim shorts, muscle tank top, and straight leg jeans that can be worn for any occasion. From running errands, to having dinner with friends, these styles don’t disappoint! Simply switch out the accessories for a day to evening look.

Summer Favorite: The trendy muscle tee and straight leg jeans
First of all, let’s chat about these jeans! They are my favorite summer style because they are slightly cropped and have a flared leg to them. I’m not a cropped pant lover, so these are perfect because they hit me just above the ankle. They are high waisted, however they are super comfy. In fact, I think the most comfortable denim I own. Also, I am obsessed with the wash. Not too dark or light. They run true to size.
The muscle tee has a couple of pleats at the shoulder that gives it a slight flared look. It does run slightly oversized. I am wearing a small and could have sized down, however I wanted the length due to my long torso. It comes in multiple colors too. I keep finding myself reaching for this tank simply because it’s easy to style with denim or shorts.
Lastly, this bag can be used as a clutch, or crossbody style. It comes in a few colors. I would suggest the black or beige simply because I can see I’ll be using it next season as well. The style is super trendy and adds some polish to a fairly casual style.
Summer Favorite: The Balloon Sleeve Dress
Y’all, I just LOVE the pink and red color combo going on here. Such a favorite summer style dress. Also, the pintucks and tie neck add such great style to this look. The material is lightweight, but hangs so nicely. It never looks wrinkly or misshaped like some fabrics. Everytime I wear this dress, someone stops to compliment me on it. It does run oversized. However, I am wearing my regular size small again because I love the length.
Let’s talk about this large roundie straw bag. It is my ABSOLUTE favorite purchase this season! I can’t say enough good things about it. The only suggestion I have is when I’m not using it, I stuff it with the tissue paper that it came with so that it keeps its shape. I think it would anyway, but because of the humidity here in Houston, you can’t be too cautious!
Summer Favorite: The White ShirtDress
Everyone needs a little white dress for summer, and this is it! Casual. Flowy. Comfortable. Really, what’s not to like??? Which is probably why it’s one of my favorite summer styles! It is lined from the waistline to the hemline. I am wearing a small. It does run a little oversized though. With this dress you can pair it with summer wedges, slides, or a simple sneaker and feel pulled together. Another favorite summer style go-to!
Summer Favorite: Color Blocked Kimono
The kimono is the perfect solution to the warm/cold delima so many of us fight. It’s hot outside, but the minute you step inside a store or restaurant then it’s too cold. The kimono is the perfect weight to give a little coverage and warmth. I’m loving this particular kimono because of the warm earthy tones in the color blocking. They are simply a favorite summer style of mine!
A style tip is too stick with one color as your foundation layer. I went with this easy halter tank top and white denim shorts. They keep the look fresh and summery!
Summer Favorite: Button fly denim
I know I’ve shared these shorts with you in a previous post, but they are worth sharing again! The button fly has definitely made a comeback this season! These shorts are super comfortable too. Also, they are so affordable! Coming in under $20. I am wearing my regular size here. I also love the length!
The graphic tee is still trending. I picked up this one because I loved the warm summery colors. Also, I’m actually not a ‘band’ tee lover, I always grab a fun tee whenever possible. I sized up to a large in this tee. I’m a oversized tee lover for sure!

These are definitely summer must haves. I love the Loft jeans…you are lucky you have a long torso, I can’t wear any of there jeans right now since I’m short waisted. WHAAAA! I have that dress too and it is the BEST!!! XOXO
