Hey friends! Since denim season basically runs year-round now, I thought I’d introduce you to the 4 best jeans for women over 50. So I’ve rounded-up a few of my absolute favorites! My first choice for the best jeans for women over for is this darker pair of high waisted skinny jeans.
In my opinion, everyone needs to own a pair of darker washed denim, and these skinny jeans are just the ones to fit the bill. They are high waisted, so they sit right at my belly button. What I love about this style is that they cut with a little extra room in the thigh area, and the length goes past my ankle. Also, they are extremely comfortable. They have plenty of stretch, would be a great choice for a more polished casual look.
These jeans could be styled for fall, winter, spring or summer. Here I have them paired with a flowy peasant tie neck top, and animal print flats for an easy outfit of the day.
This is the same jean, but styled with a summery top, woven flats, and tote. I love how the front leg of these jeans have a slightly worn look to them.

The chewed hem light washed skinny jeans
My second choice for the best jeans for women over 50 are these light washed denim.
They are simply divine. These jeans scream spring and summer to me! I love the slight distressing on the legs. They are high waisted, super stretchy, and hit me right above the ankle. So very comfortable for a skinny jean too!
I have them paired here with a pastel ribbed v-neck sweater, and blush ballet flat for a romantic, feminine look. I can’t wait to wear my favorite white summer top with it too. Wouldn’t it be cute with a tunic style shirt or sweater as well?

Drawstring joggers
My third choice for the best jeans for women over 50 are technically not denim. They are these fun joggers!
These are no traditional joggers! They have a very modern twist with the chewed hem, and distressing at the knee. However, they are very comfortable, just like a jogger should be. Personally, I love the blush color here too.
I’ve styled these joggers with a simple striped v-neck tee, white denim jacket, and my favorite white sneakers! So cute for a coffee date!
The second way I styled these joggers was with this chunky, boxy cream colored sweater, and slip-on sneakers. It is the perfect outfit for those cooler mornings or evenings outdoors.
Black slim flare jeans
My final choice for best jeans for women over 50 are these amazing flare legged denim.
The only question you need to answer is, do I wear these with heels or boots tonight? These jeans are going to be the ones you reach for on a regular basis. They are a high waisted style that is slim through the leg and then flares at the hem. So fun and flirty!
I’ve added a white peasant tie neck top, black suede heels and a black leather bag with fringe. Such a great date night, or girls night look.
Adding accessories to your look is so easy when you have the right basics! I’ve simply added a black felt hat, oversized gold hoops, and stacked bracelets to this look.
