Flattering Swimsuit Styles The One-Shoulder Swimsuit

Hello friends! There are so many fresh new swimsuit styles this season, but I have found a few styles that are particularly appealing to those of us who prefer to keep our midriff covered. The flattering swimsuit style for today’s post is focused on the one-shoulder swimsuit style.

The One Shoulder SwimSuit

A one-shoulder swimsuit style is a great option if you’re looking for a little variety in your swimsuit collection. Also, I’ve noticed that they fit a lot better than they did a few years ago due to the technology of the materials used and the designs of the suits to hold the bust-line in place. I generally try to find a suit that has some sort of shelf bra or padding in it. I’ve also noticed that if there is some sort of tacky tape that helps hold the top of the swimsuit up, that is definitely a plus! We don’t want anything slipping down or falling out!

SwimSuits Sizes for Every Woman

Swimsuits have come a long way! These days you can order your swimsuit in a variety of sizes! You may need petite, plus, tall, sizing. No problem because so many brands have adjusted their sizing to fit every woman. I think the swimsuit industry is finally waking up to the fact that everyone is made differently, and they are going to have to make allowances for that!

How Much is Too Much

These are just a few of the flattering one-shoulder swimsuits styles I found as I’ve been browsing lately. I must admit that I do have my favorites, and I have added links directly to their websites in this post in case you’d like to look at other options they have! Also, I have tried to include a variety of price points for the suits. I know that everyone has their own philosophy when it comes to how much to spend on their favorite swimmy! (All I know for sure is that as my age increases, so does the price point on my swimsuit!)

J. Crew , and Nordstrom both have a multitude of great flattering swimsuit options. I LOVE the buttery softness and great quality of the suits at J.Crew! Bleu Rod Beattie has quickly stolen my heart though! I would highly recommend looking at their suits if you are a midlife lady. Their motto is, “Any age. Any size. Any woman.” Finally, someone is listening to us, ladies! Rod Beattie is also the #1 Swimsuit designer in North America!
